Here's an article from Starpulse about the SNL cast and how they'll save the show. Some of it I disagree with and some is just incorrect information. Nevertheless, here's an excerpt about Kristen..

See a hilarious Suze Spoof on Saturday Night Live TONIGHT! Judging by the fact Time included Orman in the 100 Most Influential, and she was at the party... Kristen may've honed her Suze impression right from the woman herself.

The Toronto Sun has an article, "Wiig is SNL's New Dan Aykroyd." Here's an excerpt:

Ken sent me an article about SNL's production process which is kind of interesting as it explains how a show is put together in just one week.

MSNBC's resident personal finance expert Suze Orman talked with San Francisco's 7x7 site. In the interview, the SNL spoof is mentioned.

Did you watch the spoof of you on Saturday Night Live?

I loved it. I was honored. I want to have her [Kristen Wiig, the actress that played Orman] on my show so I can teach her to be even more affected, because I think I’m pretty affected.

Meet Bill comes out in limited release May 9. SNL returns new May 10.

I turned off the captcha on comments, and turned on moderation, because the captcha decided to stop displaying. I also converted all the old updates to this new script I am using so they're archived.

Plum3ria over at Livejournal made 19 SNL Kristen icons and let me add them to the site. They're of Nancy Pelosi, the Two A-Holes, and Aunt Linda.

There's a little bit of Adventureland news today: Pitchfork reporting Yo La Tengo will be scoring the film.

And of course with Amy Poehler pregnant, she's going on maternity leave, and SNL will be left in the fall with a space at the WU desk. Already there's speculation on who's going to fill it, and whether the show will hire another female. Regardless of what happens, Kristen's going to be on SNL pretty heavily it seems.

I'm slowly adding Walk Hard caps

How she held that face during the Jamie Lee Curtis sketch without cracking even a smile is a wonder. She completely commits and sells it. Huffington Post called her a 'tour de-force' last night! Kristen, you must go into a trance or free your mind when doing Judy Grimes, because it was flawless.

I'll update with Kutcher show later, but for now Hulu has 2 videos.

I saw a screening of Forgetting Sarah Marshall tonight, and while Kristen is not in it anymore, I really recommend it. Bill Hader is hilarious in it, and former SNL writer, Liz Cackowski (she plays Jeannie Tate), is in it as well. It's just absolutely so funny. One word: unitard.

The buzz around the SNL sites is that the new season of Saturday Night Live will begin September 13, 2008 and will be a 22 episode run instead of 20 or in the case of this season, 13 episodes. Add that to the four 30 minute shows centered on political comedy in the weeks leading up to the election and it's more SNL than ever.

ChuckTheMovieGuy.com put up his 4 minute interview with Kristen, during the Walk Hard junket on Youtube this week. You can check it out below. It's a really good interview that touches on Ghost Town, Walk Hard and other things, including The Joe Schmo Show!

Also, somebody (no, not me) made a fanvideo of sorts to her surprise sketch (which has seriously lit up the blogosphere) set to "I'm So Excited" and it makes the sketch almost unbearably funny.

Walk Hard is on DVD today! You'll find Kristen in the segments on the 2 disc like "Making Of" "Line-o-rama" and in the Director's Cut, you'll see extended scenes with her. Don't think "there will be blood," think "there will be Cox." (You're welcome, Sony)

Surprise Party and also this Introverts' night with Lindsay Lohan. This is the strangest of Kristen's characters, for sure.

I'll have captures from the Walk Hard DVD sometime in the next week..

You probably notice the small ads running on the side. Well, my host gives me unlimited bandwidth and megabytes, which is amazing because I can have a huge site. The cost of the server is offset by the ads. They're not that intrusive though, and a small price to pay for all that space.

I also converted the site to PHP and installed a new blogging script here because Cutenews is notoriously insecure. Also the comment feature is top-notch and eliminates spam.

Speaking of new looks, Fallonized, my affiliate, has a slick new Vegas layout.

I'll have an update from the Walken show soon. I'm recoding the other video pages, so I left off all the non-SNL videos. They'll be back asap.
