So Kristen didn’t win an Emmy.  She lost to a great performer though and I’m sure Kristen will be nominated again.  I added four photos so far to the gallery from the Emmys and will be adding more.

Tina Fey was great in the opening number with Jimmy Fallon, I wish Kristen and maybe some other SNL cast members had been in it as well.

Westfeldt Wants to Become Friends with Wiig

Jennifer Westfeldt, who made one of the best independent movies of all time, Kissing Jessica Stein, and who is also Jon Hamm’s girlfriend has a new film she’s prepared to make with Hamm, and wants Anne Hathaway and Kristen in the cast.  Read more at Showbiz411.com.

SNL Cast Has Two New Additions

The New York Post reports three new additions have been added to Saturday Night Live. to replace Will Forte.  Two males and one female. Yes! Some new women on the show.

“Taran Killam, a refugee from the cast of the long-running sitcom “Scrubs,” and two young comedians from Chicago — Paul Brittain and Vanessa Bayer – have been signed to the cast, according to several reports over the weekend.

News of the signings came just a day after it was announced Will Forte, who’s been on “SNL” for eight years and was perhaps best know for his “McGruber” take-off, was leaving the show.”

First off, a belated Happy Birthday to Miss Kristen!  She turned 37 on August 22 and I was just too busy to get online.  Sorry!

Bobby Blue Sky

I was going to update with this earlier but I wanted to wait until it was verified. Collider.com is reporting that Topher Grace, Kristen, and Paul Rudd are going to star in Bobby Blue Sky.

All Good Things Gets a Distributer

The Kirsten Dunst pic All Good Things, in which Kristen appears, was acquired by Magnolia Pictures.  It’s now slated to be released December 2010.  No definite date yet.  Director Andrew Jarecki did Capturing the Friedmans which was an amazing movie, so I have high hopes for this new one.

Emmys are tomorrow night!  Will Kristen win in her category? Tune in to see!

Bored to Death Clip

I have a clip of Kristen meeting Jason Schwartman’s character to discuss her case in Bored to Death. She’s an alcoholic and is hiring him to track her boyfriend, who she is sure is cheating on her.   This is a noir-type show so Kristen looks like a femme fatale. It’s awesome. Anyhow, enjoy! I will have others later.

Date Night, featuring Kristen in a small (very small) role is out on DVD and Blu-Ray now.

How to Train Your Dragon is available on DVD and Blu-Ray October 25.

MacGruber is out September 7.

A Very Gilly Christmas is out October 12! This is the special Kristen hosted as “Gilly” and features holiday clips from several seasons of  SNL, plus two new Gilly clips. Special guests include Justin Timberlake, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Laurie, James Franco, Drew Barrymore, Steve Martin, Rosario Dawson, Zac Efron and Robert De Niro.

Too many days between updates. I swear I’m getting this on track. My life is all crazy train right now.

Emmy: Take Two

Let’s start with the big news: Kristen has been nominated for an Emmy for the 2nd time!  I decided to make a little image on the front page to show my congratulations!  She’s up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series up against Jane Lynch, Jane Krakowski, Julie Bowen, Holland Taylor, and Sofia Vergara!

Despicable Me

Despicable Me opens tomorrow nationwide. It’s getting a LOT of press and good reviews, so I can’t wait to see it. Kristen voices Miss Hattie, a Miss Hannigan-like character who forces orphans into selling cookies.

Bored Again?

Kristen will reprise her role on Bored to Death, the HBO comedy series.  She previously played a client and will be guest starring opposite Kevin Bacon!  No date on that yet, but I got the information from an issue of Entertainment Weekly.

According to Videoeta.com, MacGruber will be out September 7th on DVD.

I never thought I’d hear of this movie being released to DVD, but here we go!   This came out only at Sundance a few years ago. Directed by Paul Schneider (of Parks and Recreation fame), it’s the story of a man who wants to invent a rocketbelt.   Now it’s being released on DVD June 29.  You can view the trailer on IMDB.com now.

I got hacked again.  Very irritated.

When I return from my trip, I’m going to throw myself into revamping this site and adding all I can to make it better. I know Kristen has over a million fans now, it’s got to be somewhere near that number. I’ll be adding as much as video and audio as I had in the beginning days of the site.

But if you would kindly comment to this post! and let me know what you want, I will try my best to provide it. More photos? Regular gallery updates on a certain day of the week? Icons? Is it photos fans are hungry for? I don’t know. It’s hard when you have way less feedback than a Disney star fansite or something. Help me out!

How happy am I to see this?! When this show first started its run, I wrote to the publicity team, asking for video. Sadly. they had none to provide. Now it’s here. Dance, sing, make love. Follow the advice of Suzanne Somers. (I’m a little sad I’m FINALLY going to NYC and the show isn’t running..)

Oh, and Kristen is on the cover of Gotham magazine! I will try and pick that up when in NYC this week, and add it to my collection of things to scan. There’s a picture of her at the party!

I have to take a short break due to some business. I’ll be back soon with a lot of MacGruber updates, slowly getting the recent season highlights up here, etc.
