First Look at Bridesmaids

The Playlist blog scanned an image from the new Entertainment Weekly film issue which features a first look at Bridesmaids. You can see it below.

More DVD dates

There’s going to be a LOT of Kristen footage hitting stores..

Date Night, featuring Kristen in a small (very small) role is out on DVD and Blu-Ray now.

How to Train Your Dragon is available on DVD and Blu-Ray October 25.

MacGruber is out September 7.

A Very Gilly Christmas is out October 12! This is the special Kristen hosted as “Gilly” and features holiday clips from several seasons of  SNL, plus two new Gilly clips. Special guests include Justin Timberlake, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Laurie, James Franco, Drew Barrymore, Steve Martin, Rosario Dawson, Zac Efron and Robert De Niro.

Too many days between updates. I swear I’m getting this on track. My life is all crazy train right now.

Kristen receives another Emmy nomination..

8 Jul

Emmy: Take Two

Let’s start with the big news: Kristen has been nominated for an Emmy for the 2nd time!  I decided to make a little image on the front page to show my congratulations!  She’s up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series up against Jane Lynch, Jane Krakowski, Julie Bowen, Holland Taylor, and Sofia Vergara!

Despicable Me

Despicable Me opens tomorrow nationwide. It’s getting a LOT of press and good reviews, so I can’t wait to see it. Kristen voices Miss Hattie, a Miss Hannigan-like character who forces orphans into selling cookies.

Here’s two interviews from TrailerAddict.com below.  One with Kristen about the film and one at the premiere.

Bored Again?

Kristen will reprise her role on Bored to Death, the HBO comedy series.  She previously played a client and will be guest starring opposite Kevin Bacon!  No date on that yet, but I got the information from an issue of Entertainment Weekly.

All Good Things

KikiClips.com has a trailer for the Kirsten Dunst film All Good Things, in which Kristen stars.  I can’t find her in the trailer, but you can check it out at KikiClips.com.

MacGruber on DVD

According to Videoeta.com, MacGruber will be out September 7th on DVD.

Gallery Updates

I’m uploading some recent event photos to the gallery.  Right now, you’ll find Despicable Me premiere photos at the link below!  I think this photo is really cute but..Kristen looks really really thin.

MacGruber tunes and more.

10 May

First up, the board is back up. I will be taking precautions to ensure a I don’t have the same problem as last time.

So what did you think of the Betty White episode? I’m a little tired of the Eunice character. I don’t want to see her again.  It’s was definitely a one-shot, but it’s been played out enough.   I like Kristen’s more subtle and clever characters.. and also the A-Holes. When we will see them again? It’s been ages.

Thanks to Ajays for sending me some new info.

Kristen has optioned the novel Clown Girl.  I think this is awesome. It shows she’s really cerebral and dedicated to entertainment.  Any star can option a bestseller and snag the starring role, but it takes an artist to tackle a less mainstream book, and be so dedicated to it she’s willing to use her own money.  (Article at EW.com)

She’s also singing. Now we’ve heard her sing before (Live duet during Walk Hard, with Amy Adams on SNL, etc) but she’s on a CD. Three times!    Her character, Vicki St. Elmo, is a singer, and thus, it’s only natural Kristen shows off her pipes.  You can download the song at Stereogum. Listen now!

Seems it’s available from Amazon on download already.  You can stream “Rock My Body” and “Champion” and “A Perfect Number.”  I kind of love the latter, in all its 80′s rain-streaming-on-the-windows big hair video hair evoking glory.

CD listing:

01 Corbread Compton & The Silverlake Choir – “MacGruber’s Theme”
02 The Black Keys – “Heavy Soul”
03 Toto – “Rosanna”
04 Gerry Rafferty – “Baker Street”
05 The Hives – “Tick Tick Boom”
06 Emerson, Lake & Powell – “Touch N’ Go”
07 Eddie Money – “Take Me Home Tonight”
08 Quarterflash – “Harden My Heart”
09 Kristen Wiig – “A Perfect Number”
10 Mr. Mister – “Broken Wings”
11 Robbie Dupree – “Steal Away”
12 Kristen Wiig (Feat. MacGruber & Lightspeed Champion) – “Rock My Body”
13 Michael Bolton – “Love Is A Wonderful Thing”
14 Matthew Compton – “The MacGruber Suite”
15 Kristen Wiig – “Champion”

Honestly, I think MacGruber is going to be the best SNL film since Wayne’s World. It looks like pure fun.

Finally, we’ve got more Bridesmaids news. Jon Hamm, Dianne Wiest and Matt Lucas have joined the cast.  The Stagemomma blog I linked to before has an update on her daughter trying out for a role as Kristen’s younger self.

All of this Kristen news is great. I can’t believe she’s finally in movies as a STAR. About damn time.

But wait, there’s more MacGruber news. MakingOf.com let me know they have 5 new clips from the film featuring Kristen and the cast shooting the movie. You’ll find them linked below.

BTW, Brandon, the song from the “Shana” sketch on the Charles Barkley episode was Ke$sha’s “Tik Tok” in the original air. The rerun/On Demand version is a different song.

MacGruber, AskMen Top 99 Women

There’s a red band trailer out for MacGruber the movie. It looks like Kristen and Will had a lot of fun filming it! There’s some language in it and you have to let them know your age, but it’s great quality. I’ll replace it with a non age-limited version soon.

Kristen’s hair certainly looks better here than in that awful wig!

Kristen was voted # 87 on the AskMen.com Top 99! View her page now!
