Are you Kristen, do you know her, or are affiliated with her in any way?

Absolutely not. I’m just a fan. I’m not affiliated with her management or representatives.

Has Kristen seen your site? Does she visit it?

She does know it exists.  It was mentioned in her Radar Magazine interview. Cast members have been told about it, etc.  I have no idea if she visits.

Radar: You do have a fan site, you know. Something about Wiggy About Wiig or something.

Radar: Totally. You haven’t Googled yourself?
Kristen: Oh my gosh. I have Googled myself. In the second season, I did it only once because the curiosity got the best of me.

No. For one thing, I don’t have time to individually email clips to people when they are so readily available at Amazon.com, NBC.com, and Hulu. I can’t take requests either, out of respect for NBC and the other networks.

No. Kristen does not have any public account on any social networking site. Anybody you see claiming to be her is a fake!

Do you have her email address?

No, and if I did, it wouldn’t be my place to give it to out. She did have an email listed on her site in the past but it’s no longer available.

Why is the website called “Wigging Over Wiig”?

I don’t really call it that anymore. When I first started it, it was on a free server – kristenwiigfan.com didn’t exist yet – so I had to come up with an actual title, rather than the beautiful freewebs.com/kristenwiigfans..

To “wig out” is slang for “to become crazy and enthusiastic over.” ..Isn’t that what a fan is anyhow? Somebody who is enthusiastic? So I named the site “Wigging Over Wiig” because I love alliteration and Kristen’s last name is Wiig. Yay etymology.

Just a fan. Somebody who thinks Kristen’s talented, and informs you of her career.

How do you say Kristen’s last name?

It’s pronounced like the word “wig.”

Why isn’t there anything at KristenWiig.com?

I can’t answer that. I think mainly it’s because Kristen has a LOT of fans and it would be a lot of work to update and then people would bombard the creator with messages for Kristen.. I’d like to think this is a decent source for information in its wake!
